Ronald Mylchreest

Ronald Mylchreest purchased Klippe Rivier in 1987. He was a well known South African modern artist and sculptor who worked in both wood and metal. Ronald and his wife Gertie did not farm but tried to restore some of the interiors. They also installed two modern bathrooms - one in the back room which remains today, and the other in the front dining room, which was removed when Klippe Rivier was returned to its original room design by the Westby-Nunn family.
